This week has been Space Week in school. We have been doing lots of space activities throughout the week.

Our book of the week has been ‘Whatever Next!’ by Jill Murphy. We have listened to the story and used props to act out the story

We used play dough to make planets, stars and even aliens

We practised writing the letters we have learned in Phonics using glitter, chalk and pens on shiny foil

We had a space station where we pretended to be astronauts and explored the control panel which even had a flashing light

We wrote our names using glue and covered them with glitter

And we carefully threaded hoops onto the alien’s antennae
