Spellings

I am attaching 3 groups of spellings. Please test your child starting with the first sheet, if they know them all then move onto the second sheet, again if they know them all move onto the third sheet.

These will be the set Individual spellings for your child. If they get any wrong – please select 8/10 to learn a week. Let you child practice learning them daily, practice them in context (where they go into a sentence).

By half term, you child should be more confident in the Year 1,2,3,4 common exception words.

longmynd@holytrinitycepa.co.uk and I will set more spellings. The aim is 8-10 spellings a week.

Home learning: I would test on Monday, mark and set individual spellings, practice everyday and then test on a Monday. The following Monday set more spellings and test the following Monday. Please send marks through dojo.
